WhaleStats platform, which provides the data on the top 100 largest whales on various platforms, revealed via Twitter that some of the largest investors on the Ethereum blockchain have recently purchased several altcoins, including ApeCoin (APE), FTX Token (FTX) , Fantom (FTM ), Sandbox (SAND) & Chainlink (LINK) accounted for the total acquisition of $22.1 million.
Whales frequent targets have always been around Shiba Inu, FTT, LINK, along with FTM, but two coins, APE & SAND have recently entered the list.
The acquisition of whales stands at 2,100,000 SAND, 485,000 LINK, 195,029 APE & 3,383,731 FTM. The top 10 digital currencies bought in the past 24 hours include APE, FTX & FTM, along with MATIC, WBTC, MKR and dollar-pegged stablecoins USDT and USDC.
APE – The Most Traded ERC – 20 Token!
For the 100 largest Ethereum whales, APE was the most traded ERC-20 token in the past 24 hours. At the time of purchase, Whales have acquired 600,000 ApeCoins which are approximately $8.2 million at the time of purchase. Interestingly, Time Magazine is looking forward to accepting APE as a means of payment from its subscribers.
On the other hand, FTT ranks second in the top 10 crypto holdings after Ethereum. FTT continues to be the currency with the greatest value in US dollars for these investors.
Largest Ethereum Wallets Hold $1.2 Billion SHIB
According to WhaleStats data posted on its website, the top 100 ETH whales still own a massive amount of Shiba Inu coins, valued at $1,255,643,849. This accounts for 53,591,286,769,099 SHIB and 14.14% of their portfolios.
Hold on, the SHIB gain is not the highest. The amount of FTT acquired by these whales is slightly higher, $1,678,414,524 FTT.
