Gamers have had a frustratingly difficult time getting their hands on certain consoles amid chip shortages, including the ever-elusive Xbox Series X† However, getting access to next-gen titles just got a little easier and more affordable. At the moment at Woot you can grab the Xbox Series S Fortnite and Rocket League Bundle with the Midnight Drive Pack, 1,000 V Bucks and 1,000 Rocket League Credits for just $280† That’s $20 less than the Microsoft Store. This deal is available now through April 5 or until supplies run out – whichever comes first.

The Series S is the “light” version of the bulkier Xbox Series X. While it can still run next-gen games, such as Halo Infinite, the Series S doesn’t have a disk drive, so all your games will have to be digital downloads. And as a result, the 512 GB storage space will fill up fairly quickly, although that is easy (albeit expensive) to fix with a expansion card

While it doesn’t support 4K video, it does match the Series X’s 120 frames per second frame rate for super-smooth motion. And at less than 3 inches thick, it’s significantly more compact, too. If you’re into gaming hard it might be worth waiting for the stock issues to try and get your hands on a Series X, but if you’re just looking for a way to enjoy some of those next-gen games to enjoy, the Series S is a great option for more casual gamers. Especially if you can find it on sale.

As popular Xbox consoles are, it’s likely that Woot will run out of stock before April 5, so you’ll need to buy early if you want to be sure of all the benefits available with this great bundle.
