Prominent Bitcoin Hater Has Jokingly Announced Himself As The Mysterious Creator Of Bitcoin – Satoshi Nakamoto

Chairman of SchiffGold, permanent Bitcoin hater Peter Schiff, has brought to Twitter to congratulate the community on April 1.

Apparently, after Binance CZ joked that he was Satoshi Nakamoto, Schiff admitted that he did indeed create the largest global cryptocurrency Bitcoin in 2008-2009 (and then the first crypto ever).

Schiff jokes that he is Satoshi. is

Schiff tweeted that he owns “trillions in Bitcoin” and continues to buy BTC. For this reason, he continued, he has been constantly slamming Bitcoin in the hopes of getting rid of “paper hands” and gradually buying BTC’s total supply of 21 million coins so that he can “have the moon all to himself.”

In the tweet that followed, Schiff explained that he added that part about “the moon” because he wanted to make sure everyone understood his April 1st joke.

“I wanted to make sure no one took my April Fool’s joke seriously. I didn’t want to be responsible for fools buying #Bitcoin.”

The crypto community has long been trying to figure out who Satoshi Nakamoto could be among the crypto influencers alive today. Among the “candidates” are Hal Finney (deceased in 2014), Adam Back (Blockstream CEO), and some even joked that it’s Elon Musk.

CSW and other fake Satoshis

In 2018-2019, several self-proclaimed Satoshis emerged, the most active among them was Craig Wright, founder of Bitcoin SV, who used aggressive tactics to prove that he is the real Bitcoin creator.

He sued several top crypto community representatives who rejected his claims, including Vitalik Buterin, a co-founder of Ethereum.

As reported by U.Today in March, Craig Wright lost a case brought by him against 16 high-profile Bitcoin developers, including Gregory Maxwell, Pieter Wuille and Peter Todd.
