Stickers are somewhat of a mystery. While similar in size to GIFs, stickers are essentially just larger Discord emojis that can’t be added next to text.

Like emojis, custom stickers can be static images or animated. Users who are not subscribed to Discord Nitro can use a server’s own stickers, but cannot use stickers from outside that server.

How to use stickers on Discord

Discord users often use stickers to reply to messages or greet other people on servers. Due to their larger real estate, they can be more graceful and detailed than standard Discord emojis.
