The Florida governor has proposed plans to allow citizens to pay their taxes in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.
Based on a news release from Invezz, the state of Florida will be looking at ways to implement Bitcoin payments for services, especially taxes. At an event held on March 21, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill addressing the financial literacy of high school students.
During the speech, he said Florida is also working to implement blockchain technologies, especially crypto payments for goods and services, and urged the government to find out whether companies would be interested in “paying taxes in cryptocurrency.” Florida”.
